Shows how the 2 boards sit within the face unit. At the center of the picture, at the junction of the 2 boards, you see the brown connector which holds the 2 boards together. At the front of that connector is the fail safe power relay which trips off the HV when the set current is exceeded. The tripping is done by interrupting the primary current of the HV AC output transformer. Why "fail safe"? Because the primary turn off device is the triac.
