Here you see unit with the faceplate holding the CRT removed. Don't underestimate the simple casing used for this instrument. The plastic material used is very strong, particularly the carry handle. Contrast it with the handles on the current made-in-Malaysia HP34401 and HP33120 instruments. Almost half of my units have already lost their handles, which are made from inferior (brittle) plastic.
