Here you see the DTF graph with the horizontal scale in distance (meters) and the vertical scale in Return Loss (dB).
Marker 1 is at the end of the 18m RG8 and Marker 2 is at the end of the RG58. Of course, the RL is higher at Marker 2
because it is open circuited. The RL ripples at places other than MK1 and MK2 are due to reflections along the line.
